The four-speed was standard on the trans am and was included in the L75 455 performance package.

The console was option.al

153 spot welds lol glad that’s done.

I need to replace the drop off.I know that is reproduced.But how about this piece that fits to the rear tail panelView attachment 3850.Anyone know of a supplier?

Here is the surround, and I found out it is reproduced.

So now, drilling more spot welds to remove the drop-off and surround.

Agreed - I just went a different direction with mine. It was my first race car - my dad and I built it into such 20+ years ago and it's just kind of snowballed since then.

Originally sold in Florida in September 1976 and still titled!

I am an advocate for Cleco’s 50 fasteners and the pliers for 50 bucks on Amazon.

Squeeze the pliers, and the pin extends.

The pin is spring loaded, so release the pliers, and the pin slides back, spreading the tabs.
