I have a problem with my 1979 Pontiac firebird.
It works fine in reverse park and natural as it should, but drive-in barely moves no matter how much it revs.
It's automatic.
I thought it was the governor as it seemed stuck but fixed that, replaced the vacuum modulator, new transmission filter, and fluid.
Not sure if it's a transmission problem because I didn't notice any slipping before.
No burning smell that I can find.
I'm not sure what the problem is.
Any help or speculation or help would be appreciated!
