WTB: XX 481988 Block Or Whole Running Engine For 1978 6.6L TA

Hey there, I'm looking for the motor mentioned above.

I can take anything from a bare block to complete parts correctly running or not running motor.

I must return my '78 6.6 T/A to the original running gear for a complete resto.

My brother had possession for a bit, blew the original motor, and had it rebuilt, but the asswipe swapped in a Chevy 350 on him and sold the original block.

Then I dreamt his shop burned down.

I'm pretty sure it was just a dream; I'm in Vancouver, Canada, and quite willing to pay for shipping if necessary.

You are looking for the wrong motor.

That code is for a W72 400.

Your car had an L78 400 with the cast code 500557.
