Turn Signal Won’t Return To Center Or Remain On Position

I have 76 T/A with a tilt column.

Not sure what the issue is, but I can move my T/s lever full range without it clicking“ in either right or left position.

The blinkers work but will not reset to the center position.

So T/S lever tends to creep down as I drive.

I’m about ready to rip the column out of go Flaming River column.

I have the wheel off and replaced the cam.

This part matched what I took out.
