Thermal Management?

I am a new owner of a 1981 Turbo Trans Am.

I know the turbo creates excessive heat under the hood.

I was just wondering if anyone has any tips to protect wire harnesses that are impacted by the heat or any other heat dissipation techniques that may be useful.
