In short I just turned 16 and have no clue what I’m doing. So my current problem is a loud sucking or maybe a vacuum sound from the carb. Accompanying that the carb will not idle at all no matter how correctly or incorrectly I tune it. If it does idle it’s barely and for only a short period of time hovering around 500~rpm. I have a 403 olds engine with a 600cfm edlebrock carb that I have replaced ALL the gaskets on the only thing left from when it started making the noise is the conversion plate itself.
