Interior Lights?

Does the 1970 TA have interior lights other than a dome light, such as the front floor or glove compartment lights that turn on when doors open?

I got a feeling that the courtesy light in the footwells didn’t appear until some years later.

Trans Am would’ve been a fairly well-optioned car, so if it were available, I’d expect it to be there.

There is a guy in England who has a white 70 TA.

He posts a lot on YouTube, and his car has been restored and converted to LED interior lights.

That’s where I noticed the floor lights, but it was probably an after-market addition.

After market floor lights are installed easy enough. Tie into a "Battery" portion of the fuse panel and you are all set. Courtesy lamps and door switches are available several places.
