I have an 80 Turbo T/A that has no spark.

Apparently is a problem with the ESC Box that responds to detonation.

Anyway, can anyone provide any info on repair or replacement availability for this box - or a good way to confirm that it is a problem?

Thanks in advance for any words of wisdom!

Did you try replacing the ICM first?

I just went through this process for the past few months and found out that the original ICM that I purchased was a non GM part.

Get a GM part for your car.

My car now has started and has a spark.

Make sure you put the white heat cream on the bottom and not dielectric grease.
