1982 Trans Am Cross Fire TBI Fuel Filter Location

Hi friends,

I'm looking for the in-line fuel filter that feeds both TBI injectors on my 82 bird. Before I start unscrewing fittings - thought I'd ask here first.

On my 89 the fuel filter is in the tank attached to the sending unit.

I’m not sure about the 82 models.

I ended up removing the carpet and cutting a hole right above the fuel sending unit to access it when I had to replace the fuel pump.

Huge pain trying to drop the tank especially if you don’t have a lift to do it.

YouTube was my best friend. Lol
