1981 Trans Am Recaro Pace Car

A guy is trying to sell me an 81 Trans Am Nascar Recaro.

He said its rare, but I dont know much about them, and can't find any online for sale.

Are they that rare and how much are they worth?

He wants $5000 for it, but it's been sitting in a shed for a long time.

The interior still looks decent.

Any information on them would be nice.

Sounds like they are pretty rare, only 2000 made.

I’ve seen one go for $34k.

I only know of 2 other ones for sale and they are both local to me.

They are very rare, and if we had more photos, we would let you know what its worth, but 5K sounds fair if the frame is solid and has gone structure.
