1980 Trans Am Pace Car?

I have been looking for some time to see if I could find an 80-indy pace car with a factory Vinyl (leather) interior.

I had one many years ago and have not seen another.

I owned it around 1984 or 85.

I just was curious why I have not seen one with that interior.

I also had the 1981 Daytona pace car, did not like the interior as well as the 80.

They only made 5,700, and who knows how many are left on the road.

None were made with factory vinyl interiors; there was no way to select a different interior, as they came with special hobnail cloth seats as part of the package.

The only kind of pace car that did have a vinyl interior was the 1979 TATA.
