I am in the process of finishing my 1979 TA.
It was a complete ground-up rotisserie restoration.
I am having a problem because I recently fired the engine for the first time.
Everything went fine, thank goodness.
However, the manifold outlet on the back of the intake is not pulling enough vacuum to operate the heater controls.
I’ve seen a vacuum reservoir advertised for these cars.
Mine did not have one when I got it.
Were the 79 AC cars equipped with a reservoir?
If so, where was it to be located?
Will it fix my heater control problem?
Any help would be appreciated.
