I need to pull the power window relay wiring plug & check for power, but I can’t find it.

I thought the relay was screwed to the steering column but I can’t see it.

Can someone please point me to it!

Ok, so found the relay easy enough, thanks to Aus78Formula & no surprise it wasn’t working.

Checked the ground, checked the terminals of the plug & got battery voltage at the orange wire (power from the fusebox) & the pink/black wire (switched ign), so I can safely say the relay has failed.

I’ll order a replacement relay, but in the meantime, I’ve put a jumper wire on the orange & pink slots in the connector & carefully taped it all up.

Works perfectly, if anything, a little quicker.

I’m pretty sure 80-81 cars don’t even use the relay, but I’d rather not butcher the loom, so I’ll get one of the later design replacements.
