    1979 Trans Am 403 - Starter Replacement?

    If standard manifold, the starter should come right out. I know the Pontiac 400 starter is on the driver's side. I can't remember what side for my old 403.

    I used a flex fan in front and dual fans on the backside that only come with anything over 220.

    Upgrade 1981 4.9L Turbo Engine Looks?

    I think adding Crome Valve covers, Crome fender braces, Crome Brake Flid Cover and a good set of Accell Wires and wire looms makes the engine PO POP.
