    1970 Trans Am Manual Transmission?

You are probably correct on that. It looks to me like someone swapped and cut the hole bigger. Sorry, but I don’t have any pictures to compare. 1989 Pontiac Formula Firebird, 5.7, all OEM

    Frozen Water Pump Bolt?

Another thing, if all that doesn’t work, I would drill it and use an easy out. If that doesn’t work, the other option is to drill it out entirely and tap new threads in. It's not a fun job, no matter which way you go. Hopefully, the pipe wrench (with a cheater bar), heat, and penetrating oil...

    1997 Trans Am LT1 - No Spark?

    Frozen Water Pump Bolt?

The only thing I can think of is to keep heating, apply lots of rust penetrating spray, and a good pair of vise grips or pipe wrench. Keep working it back and forth. Something’s got to give, lol. 1989 Pontiac Formula Firebird, 5.7, all OEM

1977 Trans Am Pontiac 400 Vibration 1700-2000 RPM?

Could be that. Have you checked the harmonic balancer? I don’t know if that could be your issue, but it's worth looking at. The driveshaft could also be out of balance. It could be any number of things. Please let us know what you find. 1989 Pontiac Formula Firebird, 5.7, all OEM

    Radiator Too Close To Engine?

I would take it to another inspection station. I never heard of that anywhere, but I’m not familiar with PA inspections. Seems like every state is a little different on inspections. It’s all a money-making racket. 1989 Pontiac Formula Firebird, 5.7, all OEM
