Just purchased a 1983 TA, barn find and now in the process of getting it ready to see it's condition. Previously owned a 1977 "Bandit Transam" many years ago.

About to change the heather gasket, left siode. Managed to loosen the heather today. Quite a job. The removed gasket was severely damaged.
Hopefully, I will stop the exhaust leak by installing a new gasket , left side. Not sure about the other, R. side.
My 1978 Firebird Trans Am, bought 8. of aug. 2019. Engine and gearbox has been rebuilt/ reinforced. Engine: 455 with Kauffmann D-ports, competitions cams with rollers, North Wind intake manifold and Edelbrock 850. Gear: 4L80e with stallspeed converter, adjustable compushift , B&M shifter and Trans-brake lanch button.
I've decided my '02 White Trans Am needs white wheels, but apparently those must be custom made - don't know where to get them. Any advice?

You can always have them power coated as i have had other wheels colored to match my needs

Proud owner of a 1997 Silver Trans Am with T-Top. All original, numbers matching currently less than 53K miles. Purchased last year and have already done 3 shows this year in the northeast Ohio area... favorite show is Bellacino's Restaurant in Stow, OH on Thursday nights.
