I am purchasing a 1979 TA, and I am having a difficult time with the trim tag.
In the place where there is usually a "Y84" or other identifying stamp, I only have a "W" From what I am told; this is a Pontiac 400 4-speed.
The gentleman I am buying it from says it is an "SE Bandit"; however, I have no way to confirm / or/ deny this.
It was born 12C, and it is 19U and 19L
The top row of the stamp reads: 79 12C 2FS87L114406 the second row reads: 62B 19L 19U W the third and last row reads: A51 CC1 T34188603
