I have a '78 6.6L with a manual transmission and 73,000 original miles.
After sitting for a few weeks, I start it in reverse, and it backs out of the garage.
It shifts out of reverse but then won't go into another gear.
I must turn the car off, put it in first, and restart it.
From there, it shifts through all the gears fine for the rest of the drive.
So, any experience with what problem is beginning to rear its ugly head?
