The quick answer is “Why” was it a gift from someone special,” or your Dad’s?

No offense intended but there’s nothing there to the body?

I believe you said no rear frame extension,& front frame extension can’t be in great shape?

Doesn’t it look like u have a motor or Tranny?

If no sentimental attachment sell what u can & if that’s the type T/A u really want find another in restorable condition!

Even doing the work urself, I don’t think u realize the potential cost!

BOL

Great, so obviously, keep the Engine & Tranny; there are other unsavory illegal ( BTW not recommended ) ways to get green for title & build sheet.

Not sure how much you think you will spend trying to re-body & frame it, which will also involve illegally transferring meaningful IDs from current body/frame sections to new ones.

Even if u don’t consider your time as money during restoration ( 100s may be over 1000 hours) for decent or new parts only will exceed $50K-75K!

For that money, they r available documented in reasonably decent condition w/o labor other than some TLC! It sounds like your mind’s made up, though, so with all good intentions, I wish you BOL.
