1973 - 1974 Taillight Conversion

Is it was possible to put the wider 1974 taillights (or similar) onto a 1970-73 rear end?

I don't have anything specific in mind, but I prefer the wider tail lights of the post 73 body styles, and I think they would look good on a 70-73.

So if you know of anything that could potentially work, I'd be happy to hear it.
