‘02 T/A Busted Antenna Tube

Hi all, does anyone know where I can get my electric antenna rebuilt?

My ‘02 TA only had 5400 miles on it & the carwash broke the tube the antenna retracts into.

Most replace them as OEMs that can't be found as NOS on eBay.

I’ve seen them!

OEM is very expensive.

I have seen postings on another Pontiac site suggesting rebuild is possible & have questions out there also!

I hate to chuck the real original one as it’s practically new w only 5000 miles on my ‘02!

I’ll probably go w a stubby flex type for my tenure & when if I sell, I’ll pass the original along to the next owner w the suggestion not to install unless he never uses a carwash! ?

Forget once the radio is on & antenna is toast!

Any suggestion on a flex stubby that’ll fit would be appreciated too!
