Since I’m here I’ll give a little info.
I’m Brian, 36, and I bought my 77 T/A almost 13 years ago. It’s a fairly optioned non-SE car originally silver, a hardtop and had the W72 400, auto trans, deluxe cloth interior, power windows and locks, tilt wheel, cruise, tinted glass, courtesy lamp package, A/C, AM/FM stereo, rally II rims and auto trans with a 2.41.
When I bought it it had a non numbers matching auto trans and a ‘69 400, was missing the A/C components under the hood, needed paint and some minor bodywork and as I found out needed engine work and various mechanical/electrical projects but it ran and drove when I bought it.
In the 13 years I’ve had it I added A/C back on, had the engine rebuilt, swapped it from an auto trans to a factory 4 speed setup, swapped the rear to a 3.08, had it painted black and I installed charcoal/red decals, installed a factory 8 track player which l, along with the radio, now plays through a Bluetooth enabled amp I can stream from my phone to, and lots and lots of other little odds and ends (rebuilt suspension, rebuilt steering, electrical, rebuilt the carburetor, etc).
I wouldn’t call it a restoration but a solid refresh of a frequent driver so it’s not perfect but I enjoy it whenever I can.
