Hi, I’m reviving a 1986 Trans Am that I found in a garage a couple of days ago for $500 bucks at only 77k miles.
The car was mainly outside Texas or in a garage in PA and hasn’t been registered since 07.
Minimal rust besides the old owner's son throwing away the fender because the battery acid was starting to rust it out
I already have a shopping cart of about 1k dollars of parts at AutoZone (battery, spark plugs, injectors, fuel pump, filters, alternator, spark plug wires, ignition coil) as a start.
Is there anything I should know about this model year or engine that I should be looking out for?
