Recently Acquired 1987 TA - Need Help!

Novice here trying to learn recently acquired a 1987 TA.

Can someone advise what the pictured metal lines are for or go to?

I’m unsure what was stripped of the vehicle while it sat for 5 years.

I’m pretty sure they have been like that for a while.

Is there anything I should do to block them to prevent any further damage to the AC system if it’s still not too late?
