Thank you., what am I looking at so I can purchase one please? It's got the four rubbers rad support mounts but that's all ..does it go on the top along the front panel and plastic radiator cowling?

The previous photo was missing; you may have something there now.

It's best to check anyway.

Not only did they often have thick foam sleeve to protect the AC hoses, but when this late-78 AC setup was altered with a muffler on the rear of the compressor and not behind the charcoal canister, they decided it should have a sleeve on the support bar where the hose rubs.

Easy to add for detail and future hose protection.

11-1978 Bulletin for previously unmodified vehicles.

The first photo is the original 78 AC setup with a fender muffler.

The second is a 79 400, by which time had been changed during production for a full foam sleeve.

The Dealer 'fix' seems to have been just a heater hose section slipped over.

Either way, you may want something there if it gets close to the engine kicking about.
