The Agony Of A Rear Gear Fluid Change
I was about to change the diff fluid in the '73 Fire Am due to an increasingly loud whine on decel. After some research, I found that a loose input shaft nut could cause this. Sure enough, it was not even finger-tight. Re-torqued it, and the whine is gone, as is a leak. I should change...- TOG

My 1970 Formula Rebuild Project
From the incorrect air cleaner, I am guessing that the car is not a legit Formula and someone just dropped that hood on it. If there is one thing that brings a car in this condition back to life teaches you, it is to start with the very best car you can find and afford.- TOG

YearOne 17x9" Snowflake Wheel Lug Nuts / Lugs?
A possible solution found deep within the YearOne (misbehaving) website. YearOne P/N MRG1445. They have a longer shank and appear to have the correct conical surface for the 2nd Gen wheels that I have. I hope to test-fit later today if FedEx comes through.- TOG

If you are running YearOne 17x9" Snowflake wheels, what are you using for lug nuts or studs? The OEM Snowflake wheel lug nuts only get aboutfour4 threads of engagement with the OEM length studs - NOT SAFE! You need longer studs or shoulder lug nuts to get sufficient thread engagement...- TOG
