TA Named Christine(byDon)
My wife & I bought her "dream car" back around 1999, it's a 1997 Trans Am coupe - T top. It was a beautiful shade of red which obviously was her favorite color. After consideration and being an avid horror movie fan she decided she would name it "Christine" just like in the movie. She reasoned that no one would "mess" with her new ride.
I have been gathering parts for Christine to do a head gasket replacement and refresh the engine. The engine compartment is a mess since they didn't bother to clear coat it so new paint is on the list. The engine work will include a mild cam, lifters, roller rockers with a higher ratio to name a few. The engine was working fine up to the head gasket going away and with only 79,000 miles on it, I do not anticipate any machine work to the block being needed. Will have to wait to see once the engine is out.
I will post on the progress.
