    Montupet or Nemak LS1 block

    I saw that GM installed some LS6 blocks in some 01 and 02 F-bodies. Block id 12561168 is the stronger of the two. Does anyone know of a good way to see the block id number? It is on the back of the block driver side just above the transmission flange but I have never been able to see it...
