I'm new to the forums and I have a question on what kind of engine to put in my 81.

It currently has a 301. ?

I'm on a tight budget.

I'm looking at a crate motor and want EFI on it because my wife will be driving it and I don't want any issues.

I know many are putting LS motors in them but I want something simple.

I'm wondering what it would take to put a 350 or 383 in it.

I know most of you will say don't put an SBC in a Pontiac but Pontiac crate engines are very expensive.

This will be a weekend cruiser.

It has a TH 350 trans.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks

Yes, it is.

I will put the engine in with some buddies that are mechanics.

Just need to find one.

Did anyone put Honey cone rims from year one 17 inches by 9?

Do they fit a 1976 Transam tire size 255/45 /17
