We have seen these cars increase in value, particularly low mileage vehicles, as expected. How will the value hold up for a special edition or anniverrsary edition trans am with 50,000 to 80,000 miles?

Will it hold up and remain steady in value, or will it depreciate if I continue to add mileage?

My insurer says, notwithstanding the showroom, never driven cars with 9 miles on them, you get to a point where mileage no longer matters on a collectible, rather condition, care and maintenance dictate the cars' values.

He said, given the relative rarity of a particular vehicle, if they retain their popularity, they should not depreciate, unless they rise too quickly in value, and then there is likely to be a correction.

Any thoughts or experiences?
