Ok, so I think I have the distributor close to the right spot, but I was trying to time the engine with a vacuum gauge to find the highest vacuum reading.
I turned the distributor, advancing it as far as it would go, and vacuum reading kept going up.
Would that mean I would have to pull out the distributor and advance it one more notch?
