Hey, all new to the forum.
I thought I would share a detailed introduction to my Trans Am.
This is my 3rd 4th Gen F-body.
I had a '96 Z28 when I was a teenager for a while until it was struck by a drunk driver and totaled.
In my early 20s, I had a '99 Trans Am M6.
I did some boltons too, and then 13 years later I found myself wanting to get back into another one.
I ended up finding a '95 Trans Am locally, which was in excellent condition so I couldn't pass it up.
Purchased Jan 1st of 2025 - Pontiac Trans Am 6spd - Was bone stock aside from C6 Corvette wheels, K&N Intake, and Corsa Catback.
Decided I wanted to drop out the engine, go through all the gaskets, and while in there, do some upgrades.
Engine Mods:
Lloyd Elliot LE2 Heads - Comp Roller Rockers, ARP 7/16 Studs, Guide Plates, Tick push rods, LS7 Lifters
Lloyd Elliot spec'd Camshaft - 230/238.584/.584 108 LSA
Ported Intake Manifold
Exhaust:
Speed Engineering Longtubes / Offroad Y into a Corsa Catback
Steering / Suspension & Wheels/Tires:
Midwest Chassis Tubular K-member with Solid engine mounts
Tubular A-Arms with Clevis Mount
Viking Adjustable Coilovers
LS1 Steering Rack and Intermediate Shaft
Cosmis Xt005r 18" Wheels with Kenda KR20 Tires
Drivetrain:
T56 - Did the reverse syncro update with bronze forkpads
MGW STS
Solid Trans Mount
Ram Clutch
Tick Adjustable MC
Tuning & Fuel Delivery
Racetronix 255 pump and hotwire harness
60lb SD Injectors
Innovate LC2 Wideband
Flash Hack and EEHack with ADL Cable for tuning
The day I brought it home.
A week later I was pulling the cradle assembly out
The next step was tearing the engine down and lots of cleaning.
New parts start showing up.
Re-Assembly Begins
Back in everything goes.
First Start
New wheels and tires.
Sounding Healthy
