New here. I bought a new martinique blue 78 trans am in 1978 from Al Hankin motors in Larned Ks and I ordered it without the bird on the hood. Anyone know how many were ordered that way? I ordered the high compression TA engine but with the automatic. They told me that engine could only be had with the four speed, but it came with it anyway. It had blacked out T-tops , 8 inch wheels with g oodyears , big swaybars ,power windows My car came in to The dealers all by itself on a rail car and was the last 78 to come into Ks. Anyone seen it? Thanks.
