I have a 1979 TA convert with the 403CI.

If I modify the engine, suspension, etc., to improve performance, is it more or less likely to affect the car’s long-term valuation?

I would keep any parts that are removed.

Just looking for some guidance.

As long as you leave the body alone.

Save the original parts so you can always go back to stock.

I had a Grand National back in the '90s.

My thinking was that if I could put it back to stock in a weekend, all was good.

We own these cars to enjoy them.

So why not get more enjoyment?
