Emblem Question

Hey all,

Newbie here, and if this has been answered, I can't find it.

I have a 1977 Trans AM, and it has emblems on the sail panels instead of the bird sticker emblem.

Why did some of them come with stickers and some with emblems?

I just found the answer.

Mine is a nonspecial edition Trans Am.

Simple.

As stated, SE models had the decal birds, as did Sky/Red/Yellow Birds. All others came with the emblem birds through 78. From 79, they had the decals instead.
