On my 77 TA, I've discovered a "Standard" and a "Deluxe" version of the seat upholstery.

My question is, is there a difference in the frame or foam between the two?

So when you ordered the Deluxe Interior, it came with the deluxe seats and door panels and the ashtrays and dash grab handle.

Thank you,

Thank you, Smokey, but that didn't answer my question.

To be more precise, I presently have "Standard" front seats.

What will be required if I want to convert to "Deluxe" seats?

Different frame, different foam? What?

The question is that my interior was pretty gutted when I bought the car. I've now acquired a "Deluxe" rear seat.

So, I have a mismatch, and I'm deciding which way to go, Deluxe throughout or Standard.

The Deluxe rear does not need upholstery; the front does.

The standard and deluxe use the same seat frame, but the foam and covers are different.

Legendary is the best supplier.

A bit spendy.

No matter where you source them, though, once you add up all the parts, new seats are expensive!

Thank you "Brentco". Just the answer I was looking for. Ya, I'm finding out this whole TA restoration is expensive. I'm also restoring a 66 Mustang. Not nearly as "spendy" as the TA.

Welcome to the “Pontiac Tax” :) But even after fully rebuilding my engine and restoring just about everything else on my car, the seats were by far the worst, in terms of inordinately expensive parts.

So it won’t all be that bad.
