Trying to get the gas tank out broke the track bar bolt.

Does anyone know where I can find replacement bolts?

These are strange shoulder bolts that don't tighten against the shoulder makes me question why these bolts were used in the first place.

Is this what you are looking for below?

M10x1.5x45 FLG

Thank you,
PTA Staff
That sorta looks like it.

I can't tell in the photo if it's a shoulder bolt.

This bolt goes thru the bushing.

Have you checked with your local auto parts store?

In the worst case, I have looked everywhere except a hardware store; I will drill out the small end and put an 8-grade bolt in it.

I can't even find a part number for this.

I find some GM websites that show part numbers for everything except bolts.

I don't see a need for the shoulder on this.

I agree with you, grade 8 bolt if you can’t find them anyplace.

Have you checked YearOne or Hawk Motor Sports?

We think what we posted is what you need, according to our sources.

Thank you,
PTA Staff
I saw that, thank you for that, but I measure 13.95 at the shoulder, or a 1/2" bolt should work.

My next dilemma is the track bar brace is also fighting me.

I wondered if the bushing in the brace was the bushing in the track bar itself.

If it is the same, I can get a replacement from rock auto and not worry if I destroy it.
