I have an 84 Trans Am that I am putting a 350 Jegs crate motor in.
My question is, the original engine was converted to noncomputer control, so everything for the computer was taken out, including the wire harness.
It had a B and M torque converter control on the dash that the previous owner installed.
Is that needed for this install?
My install is noncomputer controlled as well and has FITech fuel injection.
I shorted the power wire to the controller and burned it up, so a new one is 300 bucks.
It was the first start last night and was a success except for the b and m controller on the dash.
It's a task to clean up someone else's mess.
Thanks for your input.
