    Hey, thanks. Are these partial VINs similar to the engine serial numbers where the last 6 digits of VIN are on the right side of the front engine?

    My 1970 Trans Am is all matching numbers except for the transmission. It was upgraded to a 4-speed Muncie in the early 90s, but I am looking for the correct automatic transmission. Where do I start? Need help. Do the transmissions have the last six digits of the serial number on them...

    Interior Lights?

    Thanks, Knight. There is a guy in England who has a white 70 TA. He posts a lot on YouTube, and his car has been restored and converted to LED interior lights. That’s where I noticed the floor lights, but it was probably an after-market addition.

    Does the 1970 TA have interior lights other than a dome light, such as the front floor or glove compartment lights that turn on when doors open? Thanks. George
